Co-Parenting Schedule Conflict Resolver

Co-Parenting Schedule Conflict Resolver

Formulas

The Co-Parenting Schedule Conflict Resolver uses the following formula:

  • Conflict Resolution Score = \( \left(1 – \frac{C}{A + B}\right) \times 100 \)
  • Where:
    • \( C = \text{Number of Conflicts} \)
    • \( A = \text{Parent A Availability (hours/week)} \)
    • \( B = \text{Parent B Availability (hours/week)} \)

How to Use

  1. Enter Parent A’s weekly availability in the “Parent A Availability” field.
  2. Enter Parent B’s weekly availability in the “Parent B Availability” field.
  3. Enter the number of conflicts in the “Number of Conflicts” field.
  4. Optionally, use the conflict buttons to focus on specific issues (e.g., Work Schedule).
  5. Click “Resolve Conflicts” to see your results.
  6. Scroll to the “Results” section for detailed calculations.

Examples

  1. Example 1: Parent A = 40, Parent B = 40, Conflicts = 2
    Conflict Resolution Score = \( \left(1 – \frac{2}{40 + 40}\right) \times 100 = \left(1 – \frac{2}{80}\right) \times 100 = (1 – 0.025) \times 100 = 97.5\% \)
  2. Example 2: Parent A = 30, Parent B = 20, Conflicts = 3
    Conflict Resolution Score = \( \left(1 – \frac{3}{30 + 20}\right) \times 100 = \left(1 – \frac{3}{50}\right) \times 100 = (1 – 0.06) \times 100 = 94.0\% \)
  3. Example 3: Parent A = 50, Parent B = 50, Conflicts = 10
    Conflict Resolution Score = \( \left(1 – \frac{10}{50 + 50}\right) \times 100 = \left(1 – \frac{10}{100}\right) \times 100 = (1 – 0.1) \times 100 = 90.0\% \)
